Description

Following an extensive research and development program in association with the RCMP’s Canadian Bomb Data Center and the EOD Technicians of the Sûreté du Québec, Proparms’ engineering and manufacturing team introduced a disrupter capable of disarming IED packages of approximately 16 kg (35 lbs.). The setup and preparation time is approximately 2½ minutes. The disrupter stand, which includes a handle, allows the unit to be hand carried for manual deployment. A gas cylinder recoil system, reducing recoil by 30%, is incorporated into the barrel clamp assembly. This system also enables the disrupter to be robot mounted by minimizing the possibility of damage to the mechanics on robotic platforms.
